A Simple Alfredo Sauce (and my go to.)
- 1 stick of unsalted butter (if you would prefer to use salted that's fine, just make sure you don't add too much salt later. Also, parm. cheese can be salty sometimes, something to keep in mind.)
- 4 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to your liking (I personally add a bit of salt and a decent amount of black pepper.)
- Melt the butter in a medium or large saucepan. Once it is melted, add the cream. Stir for a minute.
- Add salt and pepper. Then add the parmesan cheese. Stir/combine. It'll take a minute for it to look like a normal alfredo sauce, keep stirring.
- The cheese will melt and it will thicken. Also, stay close by. We don't want anything to burn. Once it has thickened, pour over noodles or whatever you want! Depending on how much everyone eats, this should feed at least 4-5 people.
